Skipping MSHSAA districts?

I'm seriously considering skipping MSHSAA districts this year. Last year was just upsetting to so many students based on the buzzer races and a problem that we had with a couple of challenges because of MSHSAA rules. Are there any consequences to skipping districts? MOQBA State is the best state tou...

I'm not trying to get as obfuscated at Cooperstown, but MOQBA does have a separate state tournament. However, some of the best teams and players were unable to attend. Hey all that read this board. I know Charlie (or maybe someone else) used to do end of the year rankings for the state of Missouri. Re: 2014 MACA JV State Tournament

The questions were definitely more difficult this year, which is a good thing! The scores reflected it a bit, though there was no lightning round which gave most teams an extra 100 to 150 points per game. The best teams won, for sure, although there were some editing issues and some wrong clues... J...

Yeah it's still happening. We've had 9 cancellations, so we added Hickman C, and a couple of teams can scrounge up another, if needs be. I emailed all the coaches with the specifics earlier in the week. Everything should be good to go. We decided on 20 point powers with no negs. No bounceback bonuses.

Here they are, hopefully we can get more teams next year. Other than doing swiss pairings and a bit too easy of bonuses, which both penalize good teams, it was a very good tournament.
