Britannica's article header says "Philip II, byname Philip of Macedon" and there are questions from past ACF Nationals and PACE Nationals sets that I can find that accept Philip of Macedon, and in multiple HSAPQ sets.

No, Philip of Macedon is routinely an acceptable answer for him because it's a title he's referred to by, the same way Alexander is called "Alexander the Great."

Lexington isn't, which is why it seemed like Kansas City was free for another tournament towards the end of the season.

Ladue places 1st, Savannah places 2nd after forfeiting the final, Helias A places 3rd, and North Kansas City A places 4th. Jeff Hll and Matt Chadbourne ran the best tournament I've been to in Missouri today.

I don't think we need quads. Conferences are fine, but they should only take one day to run. More people need to get used to the idea of playing Saturday tournaments instead.

Indeed they did. Anybody that thought pyramidal questions were too hard for local teams is going to be in for a rude awakening if they ever play any of the teams who made the playoffs here.

I think Jeff's point has even more to do with the fact that there are enough packets that will run quickly enough that you should be able to at the least offer some more preliminary games - these packets should take 30 minutes to run games on since the tossups are only 3 lines, and if you offered so...

UMSL apparently is dropping, so we're down to 9 teams. We'll probably do a round robin, then some sort of split for the playoffs.
