That sounds cool. Maybe Tom Landry Middle School can win the state title.

Who knows? But would Mike Judge make fun of an activity in which a major buzzer type is named The Judge?

I just checked TVGuide.com and the episode summary says Bobby joins the team as its pop culture expert and has the pressure get to him. Ben Stein will be guest-voicing.

yeah..i am sure Mike Judge looked up The Judge before the episode...

the sole fact that it is on King of the Hill is an insult to quizbowl... that show blows

WB? They're a formidable network now, no less the efforts of Sherry Lansing and Les Moonves to make UPN a total joke.

Well seeing as sammy sosa broke marris' record the same year it seemed pretty likely someone would break it quickly. Not to mention back in the day there might be one guy who hit 50 home runs in a year and suddenly everyone was hitting 50.

Paying 3 million dollars for the ball was just a bad investment especially seeing as he bought barry bonds 73 home run ball for well under a million dollars. I mean who was he bidding against when he bought big macs ball, himself?

I don't think he was investing the money, there are alot safer places to do that than in sports.

Just because the movie spawned all the marvel movies doesnt mean it was really sucessful. I mean they didnt even have a sequel that was released in theater. Not to mention macfarlane was sued by a hockey player for slander, wasted a bunch of money on a minor league hockey team, and all the spawn video games tanked.

yeah because macfarlane had such an active role in the games. He is also part owner of the Oilers. And the first spawn movie showed there was a market for comic book movies which people thought was dead after batman and robin(another great DC event)

batman and robin was terrible but without the original batman movie and the superman movies they wouldnt have ever released the spawn movie. And i dont know about you but to me the NHL isant exactly looking like a business to try and make any money in right now.

nascar is a sport, but only NASCAR is making the money. all the owners just invest more in there cars. As for football you would be surpized, i did an essay in HS on how much in debt daniel synder is (the owner of the redskins)

not as much as some, he has not sold the naming rights yet to arrowhead. But he also was one fo the first owners so he did not have to 'buy' the team. Also he does have hunt midwest plus two mls teams

lol ya mls those cash cows. the last wizard game i was at was their final playoff game at home before they got knocked out. Me and my grandfather were sitting up in the box all by ourselves its usually crowded with about 50 people for chiefs games. the first 3 rows of seats werent even filled in the stadium and thats for a playoff game.

however his other team sells out every game plus he owns the stadium there. One of the best soccer fields in the nation, thus he gets rental fees

yet in 1994 it was not built nor was MLS in use, but the women did use it for both the 1999 and 2003 world cup. However the rose bowl held both title games

They were going to have the world cup there but the world cup commitee had too many demands. They wanted the first like 3 rows of seats taken out and wanted the whole field raised like 3 feet.

?? you know the soccer world cup the biggest sporting event in the world they were going to host it at arrowhead but the stadium didnt meet the requirments so they wanted a ton of rennovation which is why the world cup never came to arrowhead
