Math 209: Foundations of Mathematics (3)
Psych 50: General Psychology (3)
Edu 40: Perspectives in Education (2)
Bio 110: General Biology (3)

It probably will be, but my new advisor (Colonel Akers - always awesome) said Math 209 was killer hard, so I decided to take it easier next semester.

Physics II (Phys 25/26; 5 hours)
Circuits (EE 151/152; 4 hours)
Digital Systems Design (CpE 213/214; 4 hours)
Data Structures I (CS 153; 3 hours)

An exciting 16 hours (plus 1/2 credit for ResCollege class) 3 labs will suck. My planned schedule runs slightly later (as in if I get CpE 213/214 TTh 12:30-1:45, my tuesday and thursday labs will have to be even later); still no classes until 9 and done by noon on Friday. (Of course this all assumes that all the class sections I want are still open by the time I get to enroll)

one thing you might be forgetting is CS 153 the programs took me and my partner probably 3 hours a week(which is almost like a lab) They might of made it harder or easier it has been awhile since I've taken it. Also who is your advisor?

Yeah I've heard CS153 programs take a while.

My FE adviser was Dr. Sedighsarvestani, but she doesn't do actual Comp E advising does she?

I've never seen Seinfeld.
Well, I've actually seen one episode. Upon hearing the previous statement, someone sat me in front of her computer and played an episode.
But still.

Is it bad that I really, really hate my Spanish minor??? oh my GOSH I don't want to do it...but it'll be soooo helpful (and marketable!!) and handy to speak Spanish...
I mean, the female professor is a spazz (I must admit I haven't had her in class yet though) and the male professor hits on me...can you really blame me??
But...for now, I'm still doing it. Although I'm not currently taking a Spanish class and next semester it looks like I'll just be doing the one-hour pronunciation class (it's required, I know how to pronounce Spanish)...*shrug.* Quiero hablar el idioma!! Pero no me gusta el programa espanol en mi universidad!

So! At this point, I'm thinking

ENGL 204 American Literature II
GLST 201 Global Awareness and Cultural Diversity
HIST 101 Survey of US History I
RELG 109 Intro to the Study of Religion (never mind that it'll be my third/fourth religion class, c'est required)
RELG 305 Ethical Issues in Health Care
SPAN 310 Spanish Pronunciation and Phonetics

For a grand total of 16 hours (3 apiece except for Spanish). If that's not entirely too much work I might add choir, too. It shouldn't be too bad, though, reading and writing-wise (unlike for what I originally registered for this semester).

That has me in class 10-12 and 1-3 MWF, 2-3 TR (stupid Spanish), and either Monday or Tuesday evening for Awareness (no, I WANT the evening class, I WORK during the DAY) (I want the teacher who does Tuesday nights, but do I really want to be at class from 5:20-8 the day before Thanksgiving break??? haha)...

P.S. I for sure get to go to London for a semester junior year!!! (well, my third year, I'm a junior with this semester's credit.) wooo!! hello, my other required brit lit class, my last required english elective, and the genre/author requirement (Shakespeare!!!)!

No, it's not necessarily bad that you're hating your Spanish minor. It'll be bad if you hate it the whole way and either don't start loving it or (better yet) dumping it.

You could look into immersion trips or non-traditional methods of learning Spanish. (Note: non-traditional will not include any illegal activities.)

hahaha, I appreciate that you felt the need to clarify...:innocent:

meh. This whole language business is not made any easier by how deathly shy I am...lol. :busts out in "shy" from once up on a mattress: Actually talking to people=does not sound like fun to me. hahaha.

I know, I'm whiney. I wanna speak the language but I don't wanna go to the effort of actually learning it...haha

And I don't have time or money to spare for immersion trips because...I'm going to London my third year! wooooohooooo! ... not that I just found out a couple days ago and am still SUPER excited hahaha

Well I devised my schedule for next semester and all will work out fine if the teachers I want are still available when I register *crosses fingers*

I will have (if all goes well):

Physics 185: College Physics I with Lab
Stats 190: Basic Statistics
Biology 200: Cell Biology with Lab
Chemistry 121: General Chemistry Part II with Lab

Total Hours: 17

Add in there Spanish tutoring for my scholarship hours and I'll have to do something else too to get my hours for the semester .. maybe working the hall desk or something.

So I'm taking the seemingly lazy road to graduation.

COMM 350 - Media Criticism
COMM 358 - Advanced Radio Production
COMM 450 - Editing
ED 393 - Clinical Experiences in Education

Total hours: 13

If I can get my act together and actually juggle five classes with the frakload of stuff I do with campus media, I might tack on SPAN 202 with an, as my friend puts it, "incomprable", professor. Could be a cupcake 3 hours if I can endure 1) whatever homework the prof wants, 2) the prof showing up to class inebriated, and 3) singing the same song over and over week after week. Heck, I've heard the prof'll make us march into neighboring classrooms to sing it. Boy does that tick off the prof's colleagues!

Crap... Stanley's CpE 213 section (TTh 12:30-1:45) only has 5 seats left, and the 214 lab I wanted is waitlisted. If I get stuck in the later 213 section (3:30-4:45) which has plenty of seats left, there will be an earlier lab I can take; otherwise I'll probably have to have a W 5:00 lab... sometimes being so far ahead isn't that great

Only 16 and a half hours to go...

lol, I started the semester with 17 (15 reading-intensive) but panicked and dropped a class (and added choir)...I've had 15 hours both semesters.
Next semester I haven't fully figured out, yet. haha. Well whatever I said earlier is right as far as intro relg, ethics, amer lit, global awareness, and spanish goes, but i need to add a class for pre-law...history or something'd be easiest, but i think it needs to be speech (so that i can take advanced speech classes later)...which i really have no idea how much work that'll be...hmm. so the 13+speech or whatev is 16, plus i'll add choir if that's not too big a load.
