McAuley 37 Pleasant Hope 0
Three rushing TDs, two passing, third TD came on a 65 yard run straight up the middle, and almost out gained the Warrior's offense from the first half.
Yours truly was part of the radio commentary, and hopefully will continue to be one of the voices for the McAuley Warrior football squad.

Unfortunately, no. The radio stations down here aren't that advanced. For example, the broadcast itself is done over cell phone.L-Town Expatriate wrote:Awesome!! Well, 5-5 record. NKC really still sucks when they want to. And we didn't win district either. Raytown South must really be feeling salty because we scored 43-0 against them. When that happens to you it means you suck.

you know whats sucking?
tonka.
especially when they get trounced 51-12.

Well, here are the state champions so far:
8-man: St. Joseph Christian defeats Worth County
Class 2: Blair Oaks defeats Hogan Prep (never heard of either of those schools)
Class 4: Webb City defeats Hannibal
Class 6: Blue Springs South defeats Christian Brothers College (and Kansas City yet again proves dominance)
So 4 down, 3 to go.
Class 1: South Shelby v. Marionville
Class 3: Harrisonville v. Owensville
Class 5: Ray-Pec v. Kirkwood
So what it gon' B.
I'm picking Ray-Pec, but I don't know enough about the other classes.
Also, I like that Rockbridge didn't make it out of district. Someone needed to bring them down to earth.

Blair Oaks is outside Jeff city... won state 2 years ago... and it was a sad day when they didn't make it back to the dome last season to get turboed by Cameron
Hogan is an inner city school from KC. 100%. Charter school who pulls from all the KC school District. Very tough school to get into. Hard to believe where Hogan started 13 years ago in football to now.

Dad's Alma Mater South Shelby won class 1... they were ahead 20-7 at the half and end of 3rd quarter but Marionville put in their backup quarterback and they were able to score 3 touchdowns to get to 21-20. South Shelby then got a big return on the next kickoff getting to Marionville's 20 and scoring a few plays later. They intercepted on Marionville's next drive but weren't able to score, and Marionville was able to get another touchdown with 22 seconds left.
Tied at 27-27, South Shelby blocked the extra point kick and it went to overtime. South Shelby got the ball first and scored a touchdown and got the extra point. Roughing the kicker on the extra point attempt caused Marionville to start on the 40 on their attempt and on 4th and 23 or so they did about 5 laterals and weren't able to advance at all.
