Second chance group for the rest of the tournament is now up as well - group name and password same as before.

Reminder, brackets need to be submitted before the first game starts (tomorrow morning for the men's tournament and Friday morning for the women's side).

Yuuuuup, me three. I'll run a second-chance pool again this year too - think it starts on Monday morning after the second round is complete.

Don't forget, brackets have to be submitted before the beginning of the first round - that means approximately 11 am Thursday for the men's side, and 10 am Friday on the women's side.

I guess I never posted this: Viburnum joined the Black River League, starting this year. The BRL does not sponsor quizbowl, as far as I can tell. Viburnum also remained in the Gasconade Valley Conference (which does sponsor quizbowl), so they now have two separate conference affiliations.

After discussing this with a few teams at the last couple of tournaments I've worked, I've gotten curious as to what everyone else thinks of the mandatory recognition rule - specifically, the MSHSAA mandate that all tournaments must enforce verbal recognition on all tossups.
