Re: Head Coach Career Record
It's an interesting question. Once upon a time, a coach or team getting somewhere in the range of 35-40 wins in a season would probably be an enormous accomplishment (since so many tournaments were either after schools or were limited-round conference tournaments). If my count is correct, Fair Grove...

Yeah, this isn't really strictly related to tournament discussion, but it's unbelievable to me (speaking as someone who virtually never attended a tournament of even 36 teams, much less 48) to see this sort of field cap filled so quickly. Bravo to you, Washington quizbowl.

In my eternal brilliance, I neglected to include one of the ballots in the final results of the postseason poll (Sorry Kyle). Eight ballots were submitted, and here are the results. Numbers in parentheses indicate ranks (for example, a 4 indicates that somebody ranked that team fourth). This is more of a complaint stemming from the fact that I've played on (reasonably) good questions for four years and not a critique of NAQT's writing, but why does MSHSAA insist on putting what seems to be 1/1 YA lit in their distribution? Is it just a relic from a bygone age? Or does MSHSAA seriou...

On a personal level, reading packets is the best way to get better quickly, in my experience. At the team level, we've tried mu...
