Washington A went undefeated on the day and won the tournament without the need for a final. Helias A, Hickman A, and Rock Bridge A finished in a three-way tie for second after the superplayoffs, which is being played off now.

It is unfortunately very unlikely at this point that we will be able to expand the field any further than our current 32-team cap.

We are thrilled to announce that the MOQBA Fall Championship has been awarded platinum certification from the Partnership for Academic Competition Excellence! As a result, the top 25% of the field will qualify for the National Scholastic Championship in Chicago on June 10-11, 2017.

R.I.P. David Bowie

If you haven't heard: David Bowie, one of my personal favorite artists of all time, passed away on Sunday at the age of 69. The news came as an unpleasant surprise to me, as I didn't even know he was ill.

I wonder if this isn't the score of both games combined. That score adds to 900, which implies that the two teams scored all of the possible points in one game.
