I stopped posting when the theory discussions became mostly dominated by the same five people and none of them was really listening to each other, but was content on stroking their own egos. It's basically a migration of some of the more annoying facets of the old Yahoo! board.

I voted today!
I would say that Kansas City is unfortunately not a blue city. There's a big mix here, and there are some incredibly conservative mindsets that are rampant in the city. Seriously? Dude, look at the results from Jackson County in just about any election for the last several years. Just because it ai...

I voted today!
Thankfully it's not raining in STL City today (unlike yesterday). I waited 40 minutes to vote, which is faster than the presidential elections but slower than a garden variety primary. I got to use a touch screen for the first time ever. That was pretty cool. As for the MO breakdown: yes, STL county...

KC Vs. STL
Something I've noticed from living here for the last 7 years: the Rams fans aren't really Rams fans. They're not dedicated like the baseball fans or (God love them) the long-suffering hockey fans. They'll come out when the team is doing well, but really they could give less of a crap about the team....

I didn't think Grad students took more than 3 classes Most people tend to lump anything post-undergrad into this category of just being a grad student. I really don't consider myself a grad student. Law students are under a considerable time crunch to complete your J.D. unless you go to a night sch...

No. It's my first initial, my middle initial and then the first 6 letters in my surname. Incidentally, it's also one of my email accounts and was therefore easier for me to remember.MoundCityBMW...T wrote: is your name supposed to be, like, the plural of syphillis?

Your Best Game Ever
In an effort to restore this thread to the spirit in which it was started I'll tell my little story. This will also help preserve it from being deleted from my memory banks later by assorted adult spirits. I'm 24, so don't take that as a message that I condone underage drinking. (And that Kyle is ho...

Deferring on a bonus
Jesus, and I thought I had a healthy hatred of MSHSAA until I came here and realized, it's really more of a mild resentment. Am I the only one who ever thought this rule was asinine purely on the grounds that 1) during bonuses you're trying to keep quiet to keep the other team from stealing a possib...
