2011 Post Season Poll - Congratulations Ladue Horton Watkins

Hello all.

As promised, I am running a post-season poll to rank the top teams statewide, based on how good you think they are right now, at the end of the season. I will take ballots from anybody who sends one to me. If you want to vote, please email me a ranking of teams, numbered from 1 to 10, which list who you believe the top 10 teams in the state are, regardless of class size. My address is charlie16@gmail.com.

Please do not: submit unranked lists of 10 teams, submit ballots where you have teams tied for a particular spot, submit ballots that are actively excluding teams that you may suspect are in the top 10 simply because you haven't seen them play or whatever, or ballots that are not good faith attempts to really rank the top 10, or submit the ballot to me anywhere but my email account charlie16@gmail.com. If you submit ballots with these problems, I will send you an email asking you to correct them and resend them, or I will withhold the right to throw out the ballots. I don't believe I have ever had to resort to that before, so we should be fine.

The deadline for the poll will be June 21st.

A note I should have made earlier -

As good a player as Dylan is, Fort Zumwalt West is not going to be counted for the purposes of this poll because they didn't play any tournaments.

Also, by the end of the year Ben Zhang was on Ladue A, so don't consider him as part of Ladue B's team when constructing the ballot please.

After counting up all 11 ballots, I have finally determined the ranking. 15 teams got votes, which meant there were a ton of votes for the same group of teams and hardly any disagreement, beyond just some differences in ranking, which I found to be really interesting, and also help make the ranking a lot more conclusive. It means a lot about how much better these teams are than the rest of the circuit that they would be so consistently rated in top 10s, in my opinion.

My methodology was the same as in all previous polls. I listed each position position a team was ranked on a ballot for each team, then I inverted the numbers to count how many points each team earned (by which I mean if a team was rated 1st, they got 10 points, 8th place got 3 points, etc.) and then added up their totals to rank them from most to least points.

Now to the list:
