Please sign up one team with one buzzer for Oakville. I will let you know at a later date if we can bring two teams.

The registration for everybody is to email mizzouquizbowl@gmail.com. We need people to email there so we can have it be a fairly timed entry system. I'm not going to be taking registration off this website anymore.

Field is full even without a real announcement.

Is there going to be an update to this, or an actual announcement?

There was never a real need for an actual announcement because the field filled so fast, but I will go ahead and update it.

Ladue A beat Ladue B in the first game of an advantaged final to win (something like 780-1x0, where I think x is a 2 or a 3). I'm told Hickman beat NKC for 3rd.

I can confirm, Ladue A won the tournament over Ladue B, with Hickman A defeating North Kansas City A in the game for 3rd place. Here are the statistics for the preliminary rounds, the remainder will follow.

Thanks so much to Jacob O'Rourke for doing the vast bulk of the stats at the tournament!

In comparing stats between this tournament on other TigerBowls, we had 20 teams break the .40 Bonus per game this year compared to 13 the previous two years. I'm not going to pretend that .40 B/P is elite, but it is substantially better than in the past. It means there's lot of more competitive games in the prelims, and certainly the playoffs.

Our tournaments are increasingly competitive, and the dominance of Ladue the past couple of seasons has motivated many of us to get better and become nationally competitive. Missouri Quiz Bowl has gotten much better along with lots of competitive B and C teams. This bodes well for us, and the for the fantastic work that the MOQBA folks have done.

Excellent tournament and congrats on all of the hard work to all of the students who are becoming well-rounded, talented players.

Is the ETA on this going to be before the next quizbowl tournament in Missouri?
